The following templates were set up (all can be easily modified to fit the needs of the email):
Simple/Informational campaign – ideally used as a short email to get information out. Template has no picture but a button to work as a CTA.
Story Share – This is set up as a way to share a single story with an image. Also includes a button for a CTA.
Personalized letter from Gerry – This is set up to use a merge tag to pull the first name of the recipient. Set up with three paragraphs of text.
Newsletter Roundup – This is set up as a way to share several stories at once. Each story has a dedicated space for a photo, heading, preview text and button to send to the story. Currently set up to show four stories.
Affiliate Template – All the affiliate logos have been added to the media library in Mailchimp. This template will be used for any Affiliate news that needs to be shared. The magenta color only used with the affiliates is also saved here.
