In 2021 the Foundation installed solar panels on our office building in downtown Hazard.
We are committed to creating thriving and sustainable communities the region.
The panels are not only saving the Foundation money, but generate revenue from the energy produced while helping to build a resilient future in the mountains. The installation was made possible by financing from the Mountain Association in Berea and labor provided by H.O.M.E.S., Inc. in Whitesburg, KY. If you’d like to learn more about solar for your business, contact the Mountain Association.
