The Jackson County Community Foundation (JCCF) held its annual Celebration of Local Treasurers event on September 20, 2018 at the Grace Covenant Ministries on the campus of the Annville Institute in Annville, KY. The evening featured networking, singing, a silent auction and recognition of the Jackson Counties ministries.
Attendees enjoyed an evening of entertainment with great music by the Gray Hawk Boys and the Burns Family as well as an uplifting and motivating interactive session with keynote speaker Marty Huff.
JCCF formed as an affiliate community foundation under the umbrella of the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky in 2013. Since forming, JCCF has granted over $44,500 back to the county of Jackson.
Chrisman also noted that it is the mission of our local foundation to work together and provide private citizens and businesses with the opportunity to invest in the future of Jackson County and our Local Treasurers event does just that.
