2024 Affiliate Summit
The 2024 Affiliate Summit was held on March 19th at Hindman Settlement School. It was a great opportunity for our 11 affiliate community foundations (working in 15 counties across the region) to connect, share ideas, and encourage each other. This event consisted of a training session from the Brushy Fork Leadership Institute; panels with representatives from Hazard Civic Fellows, Project Renew, and the Leslie County Community Foundation; networking opportunities; and more.
People Ready Communities
Do you live in Knox, Letcher, or Whitley County? Apply for Brushy Fork’s People Ready Communities Leadership Program. The purpose of the program is to build capacity for teams of cross-sector, established and emerging leaders to create communities that attract and welcome a diverse workforce, resulting in a prosperous economy for all.
The People Ready Communities Leadership Program has no participation fee and covers the participants’ room and board. The 2024 cycle for the program has already begun, but keep an eye out for an application announcement for 2025 participation.
